Bills
- Bills QB Nathan Peterman will practice on a limited basis Wednesday and is progressing in the concussion protocol, according to HC Sean McDermott.
- McDermott added that QB Tyrod Taylor is expected to start for them in Week 15 and will get most of the reps during today’s practice.
Colts
- The Indianapolis Colts officially ruled out five players for Thursday’s game against the Broncos including: WR Donte Moncrief (ankle), C Ryan Kelly (concussion), CB Nate Hairston (concussion), TE Darrell Daniels (hamstring) and CB Rashaan Melvin (hand).
Giants
Giants owner John Mara said he would like to have QB Eli Manning back next year as their quarterback.
“Yes,” Mara said, via Newsday. “But that’s a discussion that we’ll have.”
Mara added that he has had some discussions with Manning since the team made the decision to bench Manning a few weeks ago.
“I’ve had some discussions with him, but I’d rather keep that between him and me,” Mara said.
- Giants HC Steve Spagnuolo told reporters on Wednesday that the plan remains for rookie QB Davis Webb to be inactive as their option this week. (Dan Duggan)
- In regards to CB Eli Apple, Spagnuolo said that he got some work in practice with the scout team and is no longer on the injury report. However, there is no guarantee Apply will be active for Sunday’s game. (Dan Duggan)
- In fact, Spagnuolo said Apple will have to deal with repercussions for the tweets he posted on Sunday, which Dan Duggan presumes could be a fine.
- Spagnuolo mentioned that they could activate DE Romeo Okwara from injured reserve at some point this week. (Dan Duggan)
Jets
- Jets HC Todd Bowles said Wednesday that Bryce Petty is the team’s starting quarterback right now and there are no plans to play Christian Hackenberg at this time. (Brian Costello)
- According to Bowles, QB Josh McCown underwent surgery to repair his broken left hand on Tuesday. (Brian Costello)
